In early 1999 the decision was taken for to acquire it's own recovery truck.  EDG586L an ERF A Series was acquired from Stagecoach Alder Valley and completely refurbished mechanically and bodily before entering service.

WEX826X, A Leyland Leopard with ECW B51 bodywork, joined the fleet in August 1999.

With the success of the new services, in October 1999 an expansion of the Invincible coaching fleet took place. IIL2945 is a rare Quest VM with Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodywork.
